Our Verdict
The Vardag Splitpack 45 features a clamshell design that separates gear cleanly, complete with mesh dividers and zip pockets on both sides. At 921g, it’s light for the volume and feels robust thanks to the recycled 500D fabric and padded base. The carry handles and shoulder straps are well-finished, though comfort under heavier loads is still less refined than that of framed options. Water resistance is good for travel or dry hikes, and external lash tabs add versatility. It’s a practical, easy-to-manage pack for short breaks or organised gear carry.
