Our Verdict
The Isthmus is stylish and functional, I'm a big fan of the look of this jacket, and it performs well too. It’s made of lightweight and highly weather-resistant post-consumer recycled nylon. Not waterproof, but it does a good job of repelling light rain and strong winds. It’s lined with a comfortable and breathable lightweight mesh, keeping the jacket aerated.
The hood can be cinched in with a chunky drawcord for a tailored fit in bad weather. The quarter-zip neck helps the jacket vent heat quickly and helps quickly get the anorak on and off quickly. I'm also a big fan of the kangaroo pocket.
