The Foray Gore-Tex Pants offer waterproof, breathable protection and versatility in lousy weather.
Outdoor Research says:
Best-selling GORE-TEX® PACLITE® waterproofness and durability, now with recycled face fabric and C0 DWR.
Our Verdict
The Foray Gore-Tex Pants from Outdoor Research are reliable and versatile for staying dry in wet weather. Made with Gore-Tex PacLite technology, they provide waterproof, breathable, and lightweight rain protection. The 3/4-length side zips allow you to pull them on over boots while providing quick venting options.
This updated version features recycled face fabric and a C0 DWR coating for more eco-friendly construction. Other handy features include a back pocket that doubles as a stuff sack, YKK Aquaguard waterproof zippers, and an internal front storm flap.
They pack down small and have a carabiner loop for easily clipping to your pack. While less lightweight than some Gore-Tex options, they strike an outstanding balance of waterproofness, breathability and durability for the price point.
