Our Verdict
The Gregory Alpaca Utility Case combines structure and protection with a thoughtful internal layout. At 588 g, it’s not ultralight, but the padded build and durable recycled polyester shell make the weight justifiable. Elastic keepers hold bottles upright, mesh pockets keep utensils tidy, and the clamshell design props open neatly on a table or can hang for easy access. The semi-rigid sides and reinforced handle effectively protect the contents during transport. While not waterproof, the DWR-treated fabric effectively resists splashes.
