Our Verdict
The Montane Alpine Resolve Gore-Tex Gloves combine PrimaLoft Gold insulation with a waterproof Gore-Tex insert, giving reliable warmth and protection in harsh weather. At 118 g (Medium), they feel streamlined yet substantial, with a soft-shell outer and pre-curved fingers that provide natural dexterity when handling poles or tools. The full leather palm provides solid grip and durability, while the low-profile cuff fits neatly under jacket sleeves.
Breathability is suitable for a waterproof glove, and the brushed lining adds comfort and quick warmth. They are best suited to active winter use, such as mountaineering, ski touring or cold-weather trekking, where balance and mobility matter more than extreme insulation. A proven design that delivers dependable performance in sustained wet and windy mountain conditions.
