Our Verdict
The Big Agnes Big Six Armchair isn’t something I’d carry backpacking, but it's brilliant for base camps or car camping, especially when comfort is the priority. Weighing 1.78kg and packing down to 13 × 15 × 56 cm, it’s compact enough to stash in the car without fuss. I appreciate the tall back, wide seat, and 51cm seat height—it’s easy to get in and out after a long day. The Robic nylon fabric feels rugged and dependable, with a waterproof coating that shrugs off light rain. Setup is simple thanks to the colour-coded, shock-corded poles, and I love the two built-in cup holders for evening drinks around the fire. The Big Six Armchair is a fantastic way to upgrade campsite comfort for trips where I'm not counting grams.
