Try our version of classic cinnamon and apple taste in our porridge enriched with cranberries. This warm breakfast will immediately transport you to favorite fall memories. Nutritious coconut milk, gluten free oats, chia seeds, cranberries and pieces of apples with cinnamon. All 100% organic, without any instant ingredients. Our porridge is made just like our grandmothers use to make it. Thanks to freeze-drying you can taste it anywhere.
We are cooking before freeze-drying. In our pouches there are no artificial additives, no extra sugar, no palm oil and no preservatives! Our meals are made from 100% natural ingredients and some of them are growing on our own fields.
Our Verdict
LYO have tried to take a different route with their meals focussing on natural, fresh ingredients and no preservatives or artificial additives. They proudly cultivate some of the fruits and herbs on their own fields. Other fruits and herbs as well as vegetables come from farmers known to them personally. All ingredients are carefully verified to ensure that their products meet the highest quality standards.
The majority of the meals use interesting combinations of natural ingredients with chunky vegetables, authentic flavours and more of a home cooked approach. We’ve been lucky enough to test a variety of them and have always been impressed with the end results. Generally, we appreciated the good combinations of flavour, texture and portion size.
The fill line for adding water to the packs is novel with a blue area from the bottom showing how much water is required. It is quite a subtle design feature that can be easy to miss and some form of internal indicator would be best but it still works.

| STAFF'S TASTE TEST - Vegan, Gluten free, Lactose free, 100% natural ingredients free from preservatives and additives. 350cals, par for the course for a breakfast. LYO seem to be able to freeze dry large (comparatively speaking) chunks of food and the apple in this porridge is no exception, yet they pieces are fully reconstituted and tasty. I like my porridge a bit sweeter than this so some sugar would have improved it for me. But I guess most people would be fine with it. |
