Our Verdict
This is an impressive chair. It packs down small and is relatively light, but it's very sturdy and well-built. This is the perfect chair around the campsite, but I've also been to a few music festivals where this would have been perfect. It's too heavy to take backpacking, but it's a brilliant car camping option.
The seat of the chair sits nice and high above the ground, more like a chair you would have at home as opposed to the low camping chairs you generally find. This makes it a good choice for anyone with knee or back problems. The backrest is tall enough to rest your head against, again something that other camping chairs often don't accommodate for.
The pole structure is where the majority of the weight of this chair comes from, they are beefy poles that slot together like a tent's pole structure, but I feel adequately supported. The chair poles have a Bungie cord running throughout, so the set-up is straightforward.
