A simple and light cooking utensil, compact enough to come on any camping trip and so versatile you can use them for more than just cooking
Primus says:
A pair of stainless steel tongs, which is robust at the same time as it is flexible and gives you good control at the grill. The pattern on the handle gives a good grip, even when the tongs are wet or greasy. The length of 275 mm is compact enough for you to be able to take the tongs wherever you go to grill; at the same time it is long enough to keep your hands away from the heat. A narrow grip part that gives a good grip and control.
Our Verdict
I'm a big fan of cooking “real” food when out for a night away, especially if I'm just out to enjoy camping and not in the middle of a week-long trail; in fact, the last time I was out, I was cooking: steak, mushrooms and onions for a sandwich, and I commented how I’d really like a set of backcountry tongs, as I find them to be the most versatile bit off cookware. So, I was pleased to see Campfire Tongs come in to store.
They work is just as you would expect, and if you like to be a little more adventurous with what you cook, these are pretty much the only utensils you need.
