The Delta Bowl features our patented Protex™ hex pattern base, which reduces weight and disperses surface temperature. The thumb grip keeps your fingers out of your food and also doubles as a carabiner hang loop. Specifically designed with steep side walls to keep food and liquids from slopping over the edge.
Our Verdict
Ultra-lighters will eat out of their pan or pour water onto a freeze dried meal and eat it out of the packet - these are the lightest methods of enjoying a meal! For other people eating an evening meal on the trail is not to be simplified too much for fear of losing the pleasure of it - in which case a bowl plate and/or a mug is in order.
We've chosen the Delta range from Sea to Summit because it's light, well made and has some nice design features allowing a bowl of hot food to be held in the hand quite comfortably. The lid forms a press fit over the bowl and also doubles as a preparation surface.
