Our Verdict
The Mammut Eiger Nordwand Advanced FL Tights are a high-performance base layer designed for cold, high-output use. At 154g (Medium), they feel light but substantial, using a mix of Polartec Power Grid and Power Stretch Pro fabrics that balance warmth, stretch and breathability. The body-mapped design puts insulation where it’s needed, helping maintain comfort during movement-intensive climbing or mountaineering.
The fit is close and anatomical, by design, sitting securely without restricting. Flatlock seams eliminate rubbing, and the waistband sits comfortably under harnesses or shell trousers. The materials manage moisture well, drying quickly.
