Our Verdict
It may be a little heavier than your average umbrella, but it's much tougher too thanks it's sturdy aluminium frame and durable ripstop canopy with wind bellows. The automatic open and close system is what adds extra weight but it's definitely worth it if you don't want to get soaked when the heavens suddenly open.
Of course if your packing a waterproof jacket then you don't really need to carry an umbrella but for those going to areas where it's also very sunny then it's UPF 50+ sun protection will come in incredibly handy.
