Our Verdict
Nemo's Stargaze Camp Chair builds on the original Stargaze series with a lower, more compact design that lighter in weight and easier to transport. It's still not likely to be something you consider taking backpacking but for a basecamp, car camping or even just at home in the garden it is a superbly comfortable option.
Yes it is a little pricey for what some people may consider as 'just a chair', but this is no ordinary chair. The design of the chair allows you to find the perfect sitting angle simply by leaning back and shifting your body weight, allowing you to look up at the stars (hence the name).
It's incredibly quick and easy to put together, all the poles are shock-corded together so you just have to pop them into place, then clip the seat part onto the poles. There's a clever way of keeping these safely together which you will notice straight away. The pack size is similar to the weight but as we mentioned it's great for pitching up and enjoying the stars rather than considering moving it around a lot.
