Nitecore's HC30 is a super bright, lightweight and compact headlamp that features five brightness levels and three concealed special modes. It can also be used as an ordinary hand held torch.

Advanced Temperature Regulation (ATR) technology, along with effective cooling fins, allows HA20 to dynamically adjust ouput performance according to it's internal temperature, thus maintaining it's internal temperature within safety margins. This prevents damage from overheating and prolongs it's working life.
Our Verdict
Nitecore's HC30 is a versatile headlamp that's perfect for any outdoors enthusiast. Equipped with a sophisticated CREE XM-L2 U2 LED, the HC30 boasts an intense maximum output of 1000 Lumens. The light has a maximum throw distance of 162 meters with a wide 100° beam for maximum coverage, making anything in the user's path clearly visible. The HC30 is powered by two CR123A single use non-rechargeable batteries or one 18650 rechargeable battery and can run up to 10 hours, 15 minutes in low setting.
The single push button turns the torch on by pressing and holding for one second, once the torch is on a single press will cycle through the modes of low, mid, high, turbo and ultra-low. Three special modes, strobe, SOS and location beacon are also available. The intelligent memory circuit will remember the last brightness setting used, apart from special modes, and will turn back on at that setting.
A pocket clip is also included so that the head torch can be used stand alone without the headband and clipped to clothing. So to sum it up, its super bright, compact, versatile and durable - you really get a lot for your money here. Overall an excellent piece of kit for any outdoor activity.
