The Fury XT Gloves are an excellent option for light winter activities, such as low-level walks, some hill walking, or as your everyday commuter gloves.
These thin gloves provide instant warmth and pack down small, so you can keep them in a coat pocket or a rucksack and forget about them. The palms and fingers of the gloves have a silicone print, which adds grip and texture, and the touchscreen functionality is the best I have come across. They are so thin that you can send a text message, navigate, and take photos.
While they work well as a standalone glove in milder cold conditions, if incorporated into a layering system, they would be a fantastic base or mid-layer, pushing their functionality into some serious winter hiking and climbing.
