Comfortable stretch cotton and a relaxed fit make the Kumano Pants easy to live with on casual walks and everyday wear. Mobility is excellent, and the design feels thoughtfully put together.
Kavu says:
Relaxed fit, ankle length, elastic waist pant with logo shank button and zip fly, built-in patterned polyester webbing belt and certified recycled clip lock buckle, front and back patch pockets with hem and dart detail, front right wallet stay pocket, self-fabric locker loop at center back beltloop, gusset, thick thread and double needle reinforced seams
Our Verdict
At 482g (Medium), the cotton twill with a small amount of elastane gives enough flexibility for scrambling, bending or long periods on the move. The integrated belt is something I am usually sceptical about, as I prefer to choose my own, but here it works well, stays secure and allows quick adjustment. The half elastic waistband and gusset add to overall comfort. Storage is practical, with well-placed patch pockets and a wallet stay. As they are cotton, they are better suited to casual clothing than to technical outdoor wear, but they are fine for moderate effort in dry conditions. The cut feels relaxed without being baggy, and the fabric and seams have a reassuringly solid feel.
