Our Verdict
At 647g (Medium), the cotton canvas feels substantial, and the gusseted crotch provides good mobility for bending or stretching. The elastic waistband and integrated belt hold securely and allow easy adjustment, even though I usually prefer a separate belt. The pocket layout is practical, with strong front and rear patch pockets that hold small items without fuss. As they are cotton, they are better suited to casual wear than technical outdoor use, with slower drying and limited moisture management in damp conditions. Fit feels relaxed without excess fabric, and the overall build has a solid, long-lasting feel. For fair-weather walking, travel, or day-to-day wear, they offer comfort, robustness, and straightforward functionality.
