Our Verdict
This is a nice lightweight hat that’s incredibly packable. At first glance, it appears the hat has large mesh side panels, but the entire crown is made from mesh, and the fabric over the top protects the top of the head from the sun. This makes the hat incredibly breathable and promotes excellent airflow.
The brim of the hat is wide and shades your ears and neck, as well as keeping the sun out of your eyes.
The hat's brim is lined with OR’s “TransAction” material, which wicks sweat quickly away, helping you stay cool and keeping the sweat out of your eyes.
