Our Verdict

The RopeFish Dyneema cord is an incredibly versatile and durable piece of cord. Made in Switzerland from 16x braided polyester with a high-strength Dyneema core, this 2mm cord offers a staggering 165kg/370lb breaking strength while remaining lightweight, low-stretch, and highly abrasion/UV resistant.

At just 78g for the full 20m/787" length and cardboard housing, the RopeFish cord punches far above its weight class in terms of utility. The thin 2mm diameter allows it to be neatly coiled and stowed in a pocket or glove box.
