Our Verdict
At 200g (size M), it’s impressively light, and the mix of comfort, protection, and performance makes it a solid choice for long days under the hot sun. The recycled polyester fabric breathes well, dries quickly, and has just enough stretch to feel unrestrictive without clinging. UPF 50+ protection gives real peace of mind on exposed trails, and the high collar and fitted hood do a great job of shielding the neck and ears. I appreciate the generous neck coverage—it keeps me properly covered up, though it can make the Selun run a little warm during sustained climbs. I like the clean finish—thumb loops that don’t pull, a hood that stays put in the wind, and offset seams that stop shoulder rub under a pack. The anti-odour treatment works well, keeping me (relatively) fresh on multi-day hikes.
