Nordisk's Aluminium Nail pegs are ultra lightweight durable tent pegs made of high quality aluminium with an anti-twist construction.
Nordisk says:
The aluminium nail is extremely small and light, making it a great choice when pack size matters. The square and minimalistic design ensures a very functional peg, that easily penetrates into both soft and hard soil. The aluminium peg is, however, especially well-suited for areas where there are limited possibilities for traditional pegging, like mountains with lots of rocky or stony grounds – or areas with extremely hard soils, like e.g. dry clay, where other pegs do not work. The strong design makes it possible to hammer the nail into place, and the guy rope is easily attached and secured under the hooked top of the peg.
Our Verdict
An ultra light and strong aluminium peg, ideal for backpacking trips where weight is a key considerations. These lightweight pegs are only 10g each and are constructed into a square shape which prevents the pegs from twisting in the soil. The hook can hold several guy lines and are brightly coloured so they are easier to spot and hard to leave behind. You also get a handy zipped mesh carry case to keep them all together.
