Vango Storm Shelter 200 uses lightweight waterproof fabric to produce an amazing emergency or lunchtime shelter when the weather closes in.

The Vango Storm shelter is an essential and versatile piece of kit for anyone spending time on the hills. In more extreme situations be reassured that the bright orange colour and reflective tape on top provide high visibility meaning if in difficulty on the mountain it acts as a beacon for rescue teams to look for.
The Storm Shelter has a number of features including seating and draw cord closure to prevent wind from entering under the shelter and retain heat, the shelter is also fitted with two ventilation panels to reduce any condensation and ensure a supply of fresh air.
This piece of kit is worth the investment for hiking and trekking on the mountain and may save a life if needed.
Our Verdict
Vango's Storm Shelter 200 is brilliant in use, with a person at each end providing the support, sitting on waterproof nylon 'seats', the protection it affords is amazing - when its blowing a gale outside with wind and rain, inside is remarkably still, dry and warms up very quickly.
Billed as an emergency shelter its just as useful during a lunch-break when the weather's bad.
