An inner and outer pitch first tent that has nice liveable features, good headroom, and a large porch for cooking, for its weight, its large liveable space, and price, this is an excellent tent.

Robens says:

The one-person Robens Chaser 1 uses the versatile FlexPitch system with Inner Ring Suspension, allowing pitching flysheet and inner options to match weather and provide full or part-sheltered bug-free sky views when nights are warm. The inner’s gear rope transfers to the flysheet to keep it in shape when used on its own to reduce weight. Outer venting options include low vents, apex door vent and two-way zip.

Our Verdict

This is a nice inner and outer pitch tent, that offers a good amount of headroom (for context I'm 6.1 foot and had room to sit up). A decent-sized porch for cooking.

It’s relatively easy to pitch, but I recommend watching a YouTube video and having a go at pitching in a garden or local park before taking it out into the wild.

The internal mesh inner is incredibly well ventilated and does a lot to help keep the weight of this tent down, the large internal door really is vast, and makes for graceful entering and exiting of the tent.

Each corner of the tent is held open and in place with its own individual small pole section (this is the reason I would recommend a YouTube video when first pitching), this gives the tent a very large, well-defined liveable area, that has a consistent tort bathtub, similar to what you get with a freestanding tent.

Overall, I think this is a really good tent. For its price and weight, this is a perfect tent for backpacking, brilliant for the west highland way, coast to coast, or similar.
