Our Verdict
The Goosenest is an incredibly comfortable sleeping pad, it's fantastic to sleep on, but it's durable enough to be taken out of your tent and lounge on in the sun, shade or by a river bank. It’s definitely more of a car-camping product; even if you are prepared to carry the extra weight, its pack size is rather large.
The air chambers support the whole body as you toss and turn, far more stable than most backcountry mattresses, similar to your bed at home. The cot has two oversized baffles, one on either side of the mat; these help you stay on the mat while you sleep.
