Our Verdict
Kelty's Galactic Down Blanket is lightweight, warm and versatile enough for camping, use in the garden or simply boosting the temperature of a sleep system. The durable outer material has a soft feel and still allows for a decent pack size. Once lofted the down in the blanket gives you a good amount of warmth and looks great too. This blanket has worked as a wrap around when seated at camp, used to keep the chill off in the garden and at the beach. It's also been used instead of a summer sleeping bag and to boost current sleeping bags when van camping.
