Mammut’s Smart Case Light Large is a waterproof case that can store electronics, clothing items or toiletries. It can also be used to diffuse light from a head torch.

Our Verdict
I found Mammut’s Smart Case Light Large good to use on the trail. It was a fantastic place to store my clean socks and undies, “town clothes,” and “hut booties”. As it's waterproof, I had confidence that it will keep my clothing dry if I get a soaking, but the case would also be an excellent place to keep electronics or personal items such as a passport.
A small “hack” I found by chance; this makes an excellent light-defusing box so that you can stash your head torch inside, and it will give off a cosy, warming glow.
The semi-transparent window means you can quickly locate what you are after without riffling through them all if you have more than one.
