A compact rope game that adds a satisfying challenge to downtime outdoors.
Helinox says:
Gather and enjoy Helinox’s new collection of packable games built to be played outside, anywhere. The backcountry version of shuffleboard, the objective of the game is to fling metal rings down a rope to collect points. Rope needs to be secured on two sturdy attachment points (for example: a tree, fence post, vehicle, pole, etc.) between 14’ to 20’ | 4m - 6m apart. The first player to 21 points wins.
Our Verdict
At 241g, the Helinox StringTrees packs small but offers surprisingly competitive play. Once tensioned between two anchor points, it stays firm, and the metal rings slide cleanly without snagging. A good option for campsites or hut stops where space and weight are a concern.
