Our Verdict
The Trail Vista 28 offers a solid blend of structure and flexibility, ideal for longer day hikes where you might be carrying a bit more gear. Weighing around 922g in the S/M size, it remains manageable without compromising durability. The new Slide-Fit adjustment system makes it easy to fit to your torso length, and I noticed the difference immediately when dialling in the comfort on steeper climbs.
The ventilated EVA back panel and the continuous hip pad provide good airflow and support, keeping the pack feeling stable but not restrictive. Storage is generous and well-organised, with hip belt and shoulder strap pockets for essentials, stretchy water bottle sleeves, and a decent-sized front stash pocket. The integrated rain cover is a nice addition, and the on-the-go pole attachments make transitions smooth without needing to take the pack off.
