Our Verdict
This incredibly low-weight, low-bulk, minimalist rain shell is designed with mountain runners in mind. It’s a super slimmed-down shell that keeps its feature set minimum. A simple pre-elasticated waistband does the job well enough of keeping the trousers in place, but you don’t get any adjustment, but I did find them comfortable, and they stayed up. The ¼ length ankle zips mean donning and doffing the trousers is easy, no matter if your using trail runners or traditional boots
It’s a rapid deploy, emergency shell for runners looking to shed every gram they can, not something I would use as an everyday waterproof.
