Our Verdict
The Venture 35’s stand out feature for me is that, impressively this small power bank is submergible in 1 meter of water for “at least“30 minutes. Now I have no intention of trying that out, but knowing it can withstand a soaking, is a huge boon for me. Power is extremely important out on the trail, especially if you are using an electric device to navigate, so knowing, if I'm carless with my packing and a storm roll in or, if I fall fording a river, that my power bank is save is a weight off my mind.
There is an input/output USB-C port and two USB-A output ports, so in theory you can charge 3 devices at the same time. Its takes just over 3 hours to fully charge, and I can fully charge my phone 3 times with it (of course depending on your phone this may vary) so you ant going to be able to go off grid for a week with this thing, unless you are charging at pubs and cafes along the way.
The battery pack has a intrigued flashlight, that is hand, if you have your charger close to hand, its 50 Lumen brightness, so its not insubstantial as a torch for around camp
