The Scimitar jacket is Rab's super tough and durable softshell that is idea jacket to take a lo0t of abuse but to keep on performing, making it a long lasting companion for anything you can throw at it.

Our Verdict
Rab's Scimatar jacket uses Matrix Softshell fabric to provide a jacket that is both tough and stretchy allowing for great performance while scrambling, mountaineering or just general day to day wear.
The softshell is DWR treated, but is more of a dry weather outer layer for use on days where the weather is nice but there is a bit of a chill, or as a mid-layer when you require maximum movement.
fit wise it is on the roomier side if you are slighter of frame, but with a layer underneath and a bit of adjustment it fit well, but would be a good fit the average to bigger build with a base layer or micro fleece.
