Our Verdict
Teva’s Hurricane Terra Dactyl is one of those sandals that slip effortlessly between everyday use and more trail-focused days out. At 241g per shoe (UK 6), they’re light on foot without feeling flimsy. The updated strapping system secures the forefoot well, with enough adjustment to fine-tune the fit for swollen feet or sock days. I’ve especially appreciated the padded Achilles area and the magnetic buckle — small touches that make long wear feel thought through.
Grip is solid underfoot thanks to the Hurricane outsole, and there’s enough support from the nylon shank to feel confident across uneven ground. I wouldn’t take them into steeper or rockier terrain, but for light trails, coastal paths, and summer walking, they are spot on. The mix of recycled materials also gives them a more considered edge without compromising performance.
