Our Verdict
Fjällräven's Keb Fleece Hoodie has been developed for demanding treks where freedom of movement is just as important as durability and protection from difficult terrain. The fit has been carefully worked out in detail and the seams have been placed to reduce the risk of chafing.
This comfortable, stretchy fleece is made from a functional wool blend with a smooth outer and a soft brushed inner. I'd say it's works very similar to Power Stretch Pro fabric. They have placed durable G-1000 Eco reinforced fabric over the shoulders and over the entry to the pockets for extra protection as they are classed as the most high-wearing areas.
Feature wise there's two hand warmer pockets and one chest pocket, all with zipper closures for securing the essentials. The hood, cuffs and hem are all elasticated for a snug fit and the front zipper has a protective flap against the chin for extra comfort.
You can tell that Fjällräven really think about everything they put into their garments, from the fabrics used to it's feature set, they're garments are made to take a beating but still look good after years of use. A true trekking workhorse for long days on the trail.
