Our Verdict
Haglofs often omit features to keep the weight of their clothing down; I’m glad to see that this jacket has many features and still managed to keep the weight low. It’s a good day-in and day-out jacket. If you are unsure what the weather has in store, it’s a packable jacket you can throw into a rucksack and know when it’s needed; it will perform as expected.
The jacket’s most impressive feature for me is its hood, it has only one adjustment point around the crown, but the adjustment is set lower than most jackets (almost below the ears), so you get an incredibly well-fitting hood that can be adjusted with just one hand, this eliminates the need for side adjustments around the face, which saves on weight, and gives a more secure fit.
The jacket has two hand-warming pockets and one Napoleon chest pocket, which are well-sized and can be secured with a zip. The jacket has two pit zips to ventilate heat quickly when working hard in the rain.
