Our Verdict
Sierra Design's FL Stake use a classic Y-shaped design that works really well in softer ground. Although they are versatile enough to work in most ground conditions they do excel in softer ground. The notch at the top goes all round for keeping guy lines secure and the Y-shape design provides maximum hold compared to most other pegs.
The yellow colouring makes them easy to spot in the ground which is a nice touch. These pegs are so light, compact and provide such a good hold that I always pack a few in my tent bag for emergencies if the ground is softer than expected or the wind picks up.
