The Storm Cruiser is a great jacket that provides excellent levels of protection and breathability in a lightweight package. This is a top spec jacket that has loads of great features and performs brilliantly.

Painstaking attention to smallest details in design and manufacturing have yielded a jacket with enhanced comfort, improved mobility, and light weight reliability that represents everything we strive for at Montbell.
Our Verdict
Montbell's Storm Cruiser Jacket uses a 3 layer C-Knit backer to provide some great stats. With 50,000 HH and 35,000 MVTR, this jacket is impressively waterproof and highly breathable. The lightweight design means this jacket would normally be best suited to mild conditions but the levels of protection combined with the more durable 20D fabric mean that you can get a lot more use out of this jacket.
This jacket has a generous, boxy fit with quite wide arms so it is great for use over multiple layers but may not suit someone looking for a closer, more athletic fit. It is nice and long in the body and arm length. The hood has lots of adjustments to pull it forwards and take up the slack at the back for a comfy fit. The hem has adjustment at the hips for a good fit so it does a great job of protecting you from the elements.
